The EU Economic Review Council (EUERC) is a council of EU experts who have specialist knowledge of the issues that will affect the EU economy and developing business trends.
The six EU ECONOMIC REVIEW COUNCIL members are as follows:
Pat Cox was President of the European Parliament between 2002 and 2004, and therefore he has a unique understanding of the EU economic processes, the weakness and the strengths. Before starting his political career, he worked as a journalist for Irish television. He is a senior counsellor for APCO and Managing Director of European Integration Solutions.
Dr Ulrich Hoppe is Director General of the German-British Chamber of Industry & Commerce in London.
Erika Mann, MEP, is a Member of the Committee on International Trade in the European Parliament and Chairwoman of the Transatlantic Policy Network (TPN).
Giles Merritt is Secretary General, Friends of Europe. A former Brussels Correspondent of the Financial Times, Giles is a journalist, author and broadcaster who has specialized in the study and analysis of European public policy issues since 1978.
Guido Ravoet is Secretary General of the European Banking Federation. Guido's knowledge of EU economics and the European banking system is unsurpassed.
Walter F. M. Remmerswaal is Managing Director of Omni Bridgeway Group. Prior to this, he worked as an attorney at law with Loyens & Loeff in Rotterdam, where he practiced litigation, M&A, insurance law and product liability. Walter is a Dutch national and has been admitted as attorney to the Supreme Court of The Netherlands. |
